This Panduit BSN22-C nylon-insulated butt splice connector is suitable for repairing or extending solid or stranded copper wires from #26 to #22 AWG (0.14 to 0.5 sq. mm). It has a tin-plated copper body with a nylon housing for electrical and thermal insulation, a maximum voltage rating of 600V, and a maximum temperature rating of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). This connector has a brazed seam for protecting the barrel from splitting during the crimping process, an internal wire stop for ensuring the proper insertion depth of stripped conductors, and has a barrel color coded in yellow to match Panduit color-coded dies. It is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant for hazardous substance regulations. This vinyl-insulated butt splice connector is suitable for use with solid and stranded copper wires from American Wire Gauge (AWG) #26 to #22 (0.14 to 0.5 sq. mm) in a wide range of industrial, automotive, and other electrical applications.
